The 1997 Writers Edition of Montblanc pays homage to Fyodor M. Dostoevsky. It boasts an 18K gold nib and a detailed barrel adorned with motifs inspired by the Russian empire. Gold-plated rings and a domed sapphire add luxurious accents to the pen. This pens manufacture date falls in what I think is the "sweet spot" of nib smoothness, in my opinion the 80-90s produced such great writers.
Purchased at auction and used as a daily writer, exceptionally smooth nib and great condition.
