Time flies

It's been nearly a month since my last blog entry...time moves too quickly. We were in Colorado for Thanksgiving to spend the holiday with my son, daughter in law and granddaughter and my daughter and her boyfriend also flew in from California. It was really nice to have us in one place for a few days. We came back and started the real push to get the shop set up. The last of the furniture arrived yesterday so stocking has begun! I may not have enough display area for everything which is shocking to me because it didn't seem like that much piled up in boxes in the garage. I am still working full time elsewhere so I head out when I can to get at least an hour or two done and it takes so much longer than I estimated...of course, I also keep moving things, LOL. I am accepting that this space will always be a work in progress. Still its exciting!

It's been raining buckets here in Oregon and the river right behind the shop was REALLY high yesterday! My little duck family was missing in action yesterday and I don't blame them, that water was moving at a fast clip. 

We plan to "finish" the shop set up this weekend and then we are taking a break for a week to catch our breath. I am planning a sneak peek between Christmas and New Year so keep you eye open for more info on that here or on Instagram. We open January 2 :)
