Pelikan Hub

Last week was a busy one! Pelikan Hub was super fun despite the challenge of getting there. We are located on the coast and the closest hub is in Portland. The weather was crazy that day, lots of wind and rain all day long. Luckily for us it eased up just about the time we had to leave and we made it over the coastal range a little slower than normal but safely. This year the Hub was in a new location because the Portland group has gotten so large (close to 200!) and this venue had plenty of space which was wonderful. We got set up along with the other vendors just in time for the start of the event. So much fun from then! Once again I was able to meet some of our online customers which is always great. I had set up some special pricing on our German brands and the Swiss items I had in stock before the ridiculous tariffs ( US applied 39% tariff to Swiss imports) applied to those so a few people got a great deal on those items. We were pretty busy the whole night but some very nice people also brought over their unusual pens that they knew I would appreciate seeing so I got to see some cool stuff as well. At the end of the event we packed it all up and started back on our two hour trek home. I love this event, people just getting together just to share a common interest, and can't wait until next year! HUGE thank you to the organizers and volunteers to make this happen!!

P.S. We signed a lease on a small retail location in Seaside!! Hoping to have that ready and open in January.
