I am going to miss you "Scottsdale"...

I knew I was going to love the pens and paper, but I never expected to meet so many fun and interesting people. I would say under normal circumstances I would tell you I don't much like "people" but I know now that I would be wrong. The joy I have gotten from folks who have been in the shop is far greater than I ever expected. 

The last two weeks have been ridiculous fun! One day a couple comes in, very friendly we talk a bit and they shop and say they will be back tomorrow with more family. The next day, they bring two more, the day after that two more. Everyday that week they came by and then the next week they did it again. They skipped a day and I missed them! One day they came in smaller groups and made multiple trips. I think we had at least 8 of their family here at one time and this is a small shop! Their vacation has ended and they have gone home and I am so grateful to have had some time with them on their trip. So if you're reading this, you know who you are, come back soon!

It's not just them, so many of you have come in and I have so enjoyed the time with you. Thank you! Not just for shopping but for being interesting and kind and willing to listen to some lady talk about her pens and paper!!

Post script...literally minutes after I first posted this blog entry the OG Scottsdale couple came in! Not only did they extend their trip the whole family bought a house!! Guess I will be seeing them more often. Amazing!!
