Grifos Red Stingray Fountain Pen Fine Nib

This unusual fountain pen is covered with Stingray hide. Red (with 18kt rose gold plated appointments, available in very limited quantities).  Also known as Galuchat leather, this extremely durable material consists of thousands of luminescent “bone bubbles” which are formed from ocean mineral deposits in the ray’s skin. When turned in the light, they glimmer like split pearls. The solid sterling silver grip section is engraved with a vintage chiseled guilloché pattern. A true conversation starter, this pen is a joy to write with and a wonder to behold.
